How time flies…

Well since my last posting training (and life) has been crazy busy.

The last two weeks saw me get a little more confident on the kayak with a sensational day Saturday out on the bay doing what I am told was the race distance. Lets just hope the 6th December is as warm and ‘wind free’ as Saturday was in the morning.

Gym has been steady with a couple of sessions each week and this week brings the return of basketball Monday night and possibly Thursday night.

The challenge still remains to stay up on top of the boat although I am getting a little more confident in this area and Jarad tells me I am just starting to look like I am “getting the hang of it”.

As always time is the challenge for training but we all face this challenge daily and like you I am constantly trying to create more time to look after myself. I am often asked how I find time to do all these things and I reply that without fitness I certainly wouldn’t be able to do the hours and the work that I do. Its a common irony I observe that people don’t have the energy to exercise when they get home from work – the irony being if they did some more exercise they would have the energy to do even more all day..
